Wollongong Breakwater Lighthouse
Known affectionately by the locals as the "Old Wollongong Lighthouse", this decommissioned historic landmark stands on the end of the southern breakwater of Wollongong Harbour. Built in 1871, it was listed as a heritage building in 2000 and was restored to its full glory in 2002. It continues to shine as a beacon to the community changing colours to support local & national charity.

Trains depart from Central Station in Sydney, running to Wollongong Railway Station 7 days a week. If commuting from the airport, note that there is an airport surcharge when taking the train.
Public Bus
Within Wollongong, the WIN Entertainment Center bus stop is located at the opposite end of the street to Sage Hotel Wollongong, only 2 minutes walk away.
By Car / Taxi
Taxis can be taken from both Sydney Airport as well as Sydney City to Wollongong. When at the hotel, taxi services can be booked from Reception and arrive to and from the porte cochere at our front doors.
Self Parking
On-site parking at $25 per vehicle per day and is subject to availability. There are also several council parking lots surrounding the property.
